Module 1.2 highlights the Elements of Communication, the different models, and lastly, Communication Barriers that can affect the sender and the receiver while they are speaking to each other.
What new insights can you gain from Module 1.2?
- The insights I learned from Module 1.2 is that Communication usually, more often than not, revolved around the sender, message, and the receiver. It is like a cycle that continuous on and on, with the channels, feedback, effect, interference, and others taking part in the whole process. It is all those elements that help is communicate with each other all our ideas and thoughts.
Communication Barriers
- Communication barriers are anything that prevents us from clearly understanding the messages others want to send us. It hinders us from further conveying information to people, which results to data being blocked.
The lessons of this modules taught me the importance of understanding the way communication works and the barriers that prevents people from communicating. The lessons are definitely helpful in making me a better communicator.
