In all of my years consuming media, I have never seen an unpresentable person in the field of broadcasting. Thus, as a future media professional myself, if I ever want to get into broadcasting, I must look the part. Our appearance alone tells so much about us that our words cannot, and coupled with what is expected of us when it comes to our performance and delivery, we must be able to make ourselves presentable enough for the camera.
I have never done my own make-up before so I was pretty much a fish out of water at this moment. However, I have always been happy to consume make-up video tutorials and I made sure to apply the things I learned from those. I went with neutral colors for my eyes as to not bring much attention to them since I’m going for a professional look rather than a “fun” one. Next, I applied a little bit of mascara to enhance the natural eyeshadow I did for my eyes. I did not put any lipstick and opted for a clear lip balm.

Since the viewers are there for the content of the broadcast, I do not want to be drawing too much attention to my appearance so I did not wear any jewelry. My overall apperance is meant to stand out as a professional but not so much as to distract the audience from the broadcast itself.
