My favorite local news personality would be Jessica Soho. I admire her the most not only because I grew up watching her, but the way she tells the audience the news, she always made it seem like she was reading a story. She manages to capture the relevance and timely stories of our country. Even now, where she is already at her most famous, she is still never above field reporting when needed. Her way with words and courage to tell stories is what drew me to her.
As for my favorite international news personality, it would be Louis Sebastian Theroux , a British journalist and documentary filmmaker with the BBC. I have always been fascinated by documentaries when I was younger and it all but stayed with me until now. I liked the way Louis seems so unassuming when it comes to his documentaries but still manages to make the people he worked with open up to him. His films are a mix of amazing content ranging from incredibly moving to ridiculously funny ones. He is polite and disarming but also very thorough in his job.
