Delivering news isn’t as easy as broadcasters make it seem to be on screen, that much I know from studying them. Having a good voice to communicate with and good posture to present one’s self are definitely the things I have come to learn to be of great importance when it comes to the experience.
Rating my broadcast voice from one to ten, all I can give myself is a seven. I have yet to find a proper tone and sound for my voice when delivering news but I can say that I’m getting a hang of it. I tend to stumble a little on words that rhyme the same but I practice to put a stop to that. It’s going to take me quite some time to find the right way to speak but it is alright, as long as I find something unique in myself.
I am nowhere near being a good broadcaster but through the exercise, I am able to learn more about how others became good as they are today, which I can use as a guiding hand in improving myself.
